Prof. Ofer Hadar

Head of the Network Multimedia System (NMS) Laboratory
Prof. Hadar is chair of the Communication System Engineering Department (CSED) at Ben-Gurion University. CSED, established in 1996, is a relatively young department, which is unique in the engineering scene of Israeli academia. Competences span from Mathematics and Physics, Electrical Engineering and Information Systems, to Computer Science. Twelve Laboratories operating in the CSED will assure all the necessary facilities instrumentations and background for the project development. Prof. Ofer Hadar is the head of the Network Multimedia System (NMS) Laboratory.

Our Backlog
Many dozens of graduate students have completed their research in the Communication System Engineering Department. In addition, Dozens undergraduate senior year students perform experiments and projects in the labs each year - many of them in collaboration with industry.
Activities
CSED has been involved through the years in many aspects and applications of communication, IoT, Big Data, Cyber, Video, and has provided its graduates an opportunity to gain experience in those fields - through projects and research.activity in the field.
